Matlab (SPM) and Linux (MINC) tools for fMRI

home-made MATLAB (SPM / MINC) TOOLS

Design_magic  -    Program to display the design matrix (SPM2 or .txt). Offers possibility to include cosines (high-pass filtering) and calculate the R-square for each factor/cosine of the design seperately

(Matthijs Vink)  (update 3-12-2003, v1.1)
Update V2.0  8-2004, Includes a 'close button', new phone-number, more efficient programming, different loading of .txt file,
                               changed output
Update V2.1 8-2004, now plots SPM2 variable names in output
Update V2.2 8-2004, correction of some errors of V2.1, some changes in code, nicer interface, more extensive help function
Update V2.3 9-2004, more extensive help function, renamed 'cosine matrix' to 'high-pass filter matrix'

Update V3.0 10-2007, now handles SPM5, multiple sessions, and has ultimate highpass filter function

MATLAB TOOLS found on the internet

M_slice            -      Program tooo display results on multiple slices (max 24) within SPM99 (Kaline Christoff)

Findn                -     Similar to normal find function, but returns the indices (in actual dimensions) (Loren Shure, Mathworks Inc.)

Printmatrix        -     Simple way to print a matrix on screen in a given number of decimals. Allows you to cut-and-paste (eg to MS-Excel) (Stephan

                               W.Wegerich, SmartSignal Corp, 8/2001)

Cel2str            -      Converts a cell string array to a single line string separated by commas (1997 Peter Dunn)

MNI2tal            - Converts coordinates from MNI brain to best guess for equivalent Talairach coordinates. Useful for Talairach deamon (Matthew
                            Brett 10/8/99)

SavePPT            - exports MATLAB figures to powerpoint (Veer 2.0, Copyright 2001, Mark W. Brown, mwbrown@ieee.org )

matrix2AVI        - Generates an AVI animation from your 3D matrix (Suresh E Joel, 19 Feb 2003)

TOOLS FOR TATORT

Crime Scene Investigation  v1.0  -   Allows you to run a new analyysis on data which has already been analysed using Tatort3 (Rene Mandl). The                                                                  program generates t-maps, b-maps, and variance-maps  (Matthijs Vink, Rene Mandl)
