Recently, I started to make VR 3D 180 degree recordings with a VUZE XR camera from HumanEyes.com. Below are some of the recordings I made and published on YouTube. The best way to view the videos in 3D VR180 is to use the YouTube VR app on your VR headset. The videos can also be watched on a mobile device or desktop; just move your phone or mouse cursor (while pressing left mouse key) to explore the space a bit further while the video plays.
I plan to make more recordings of animals and also some inside and outside scenes to get a sense of optimal parameters for recording. At a later stage, I aim to integrate such recordings into Virtual Reality environments. And I’m wondering how 3D 180 recordings in front of a green screen can be used for such purposes. I have some experience with green screen recordings, but only in 2D applications (see my Teaching videos)
